Of course there are the tried and tested areas of interest for Photos and Video content. But there are the beautiful and untouched areas of Austria and local events taking place, that are unknown to visitors but normal for locals to visit on days off and the weekends etc. How about a photo at the “ox cross shrine” on a small island in Lake Wolfgang. We offer weekly guided research tours to little known areas and specifically attractive places with views perfect for photos and video content. These are for up to 4 people, so that individuals can enjoy setting up and planning their photos & videos. Whether creating action videos such as Rafting or Para-gliding!
The tours are typically 3/4 days, so that an Influencer can make the most of the choice for areas of interest. From the mountains to the lakes, to the old village streets that have remained untouched for hundreds of years.
To make a photo tour more involved for influencers we have arranged local costume hire of Trachten clothing. Dirndl dress for Lady influencers and Lederhosen for Gentlemen influencers. Of course it is upto the individual if they wish to dress in Trachten clothes. Trachten is basically country wear. There is so much choice between every day wear and eveing wear.
There are many local Events and Festivals throughout the year that offer good Photo and video opportunities. Such as:
Fasching (Carnival) generally in February
Hay Festival – September – Straw Sculptures of animals and farming themes.
Easter dates always change every year!
Oktoberfest
A festival all to do with beer! – in many towns of Austria ( actually starts in September and should finish on the first Sunday in October, but depending on the weather it can last up to 3 weeks!)
Christmas (Advent) Month
Well in Austria, Christmas (Advent) is a month long festival starting in November!
This year 2025 it commences with the opening of the Christmas markets is on 21st November closing on 21 December. So, lots of time to really celebrate the Christmas season.
Silvester (new year celebrations)
Silvester, the name for the new year celebrations. Practically every village in Austria, let’s off fireworks from midnight and they can last for a few hours!
