With the background experience in property promotion, sales and the marketing of overseas property. Amazing Austria Property was set up in 2000 to fulfil the particular demand
from people to visit and to buy property in Austria.
Particularly to speak and work with an Estate agent, who spoke not only English but also understood the British concerns when buying an overseas property.
We have our offices in
Teignmouth, South Devon, England, where clients can visit us, discuss requirements and begin their Austrian
property search. We have a sub office in Belfast, Northern Ireland to cater for clients in Ireland. We pride ourselves on trying to ensure you find and buy the property that you want...not a property that an agent wants to get off his or her list!.
Our Austrian partners offices are all within easy reach from Salzburg, Linz or Vienna airports. Salzburg is one of the most popular of regions for property property purchases in Austria. Having our Austrian colleagues here enables us to be at the forefront when it comes to knowing about available
property for sale in the region.
Since Amazing Austria's inception
over 10 years ago, we have gained invaluable knowledge and experience of
the Property purchase procedures in Austria. This includes the invaluable knowledge gained with our many European and Non-European citizens purchasing property, and also on all the legal aspects of
buying and registering a property in Austria. We feel we can therefore offer the best possible service to

Not only do we offer a good selection of property although not all, on our website, as also we keep a list of unadvertised property and can check availability for a particular area of Austria. We can also find a
property for you by accessing our Austrian partners property
lists. We work very closely with our Estate agent colleagues all over
Austria and are able to offer to you over 2000 + properties to
choose from. We are sure that if the dream property for you is available
then we can find it...eventually!. There is no charge for this service, so
please ask if you have a particular requirement.
Les the Sales manager in our UK office and Lorraine our property research expert are there to help. They will liaise with you to send regular updates and details of property, plus if required, arrange
property visits to Austria. Most of the available properties in Austria can be bought
through us. There are no extra charges to our clients. We share
agency commission with our Austria colleagues so you pay no more and get the best
unbiased service. As you are our client it is our remit to look after your interests to

Our services, we offer in German or English language to suit the
buyers needs.
Mortgage and Financial: Our Mortgage advisor is Gerald, he is based at Bad Ischl, in Austria's Salzkammergut. He works with many of the major financial institutions and can help by getting you the best mortgage offer.... particularly one that is suitable for your circumstances. He is constantly in contact with lenders so knows who is making special or discount mortgage offers. He can send a mortgage quote to you within a few days. When he has all the necessary details from you he can get a fixed offer, within a week, from a lender.
Legal and Purchase contracts: Our legal advisor and Notar is Markus Mayrhofer. A very respected local Notar. He is based at Wolfgangsee and speaks both German and English. He can prepare purchase contracts in English as well as German and answer all queries related to property purchase in Austria. He ensures that the property is problem free and after the signing of the contract, follows through until the property is registered in your name and listed in the Grund Buch. This is the legal registration equivalent to the land registry in UK. Except it has a lot more information about the property and lists any mortgages or encumbrances that is listed against the property. For your peace of mind all Notars are regulated by the Austrian government and the rules are very strict, so you can be sure that buying in Austria, does not have the problems of some Mediterranean and eastern European countries. Also our Notar is insured via his governing body for up to 25,000,000 euro!.
Accommodation: If you need accommodation, we can offer a selection
of apartments for rental. This can give you a good insight into Austrian property and what an area has to offer.
Non- European buyers Whether from Russia, China, India or other overseas countries, we can advise non European clients about the regulations for property purchase in Austria, and help with purchasing a property. Meet and greet service. Our Austria property Manager is Justin. He spends his time travelling between the UK and Austria and covers the Salzkammergut area, liaising with our Austrian estate agent colleagues to arrange property visits and keep up to date on the local proeprty markets. He can also meet and accompany clients on arranged property visits, should you prefer a native English speaker!. If you cannot get to Austria.
With travel costs, it can often be expensive and time consuming to make more than one or two visits when searching for the right property. We can
help by visiting a particular property and reporting back to you, plus taking of additional photos or video. Cost 250 Euro. Refundable on purchasing a property.
Bespoke service for property finding:
For those who would like a 'one to one' service of guidance and advice. For a complete day or few days, you have our undivided attention. We meet our clients at airport or Hotel and drive them to visit various
properties of their choice plus additional visits to new listed properties that might be of interest. We are here to answer all your questions. We know many house managers, so are able to find out more about a particular apartment or house. We make appointments and accompany you to meet a Bank manager and open an Austria bank account. Meet with our Mortgage advisor if requiring a mortgage. Accompany you on a visit
to our Notar's offices for an information and fact finding meeting , about property purchase in Austria. Cost 350 Euro per day. After sales service:
Once we have found the right property and guided you through the buying process, we advise and help with the boring bits, such as registering with the local council, checking meter readings and change of owner name to the services providers etc. Also, we can help point you in the right direction for tradesmen, such as plumbers, electricians etc. We are happy to liaise on your behalf, if necessary. We can advise on where is best to buy new furniture, flooring, curtains and soft furnishings etc... and which stores might be having sales or bargains to offer.
Rental service for your property
Catherine is our specialist rentals manager. She looks after the
advertising and promotion of Owners property. She can advise best on how to prepare your property for holiday renting, guide you for the advertising and the most productive rental sites. Plus the potential rental weeks and income for the renting of your property.
